My day In Ann arbor MI
When I took a walking tour of Ann Arbor, MI, on a cold and sunny April day, I was impressed by the city’s natural charm and eclectic atmosphere. From the city’s business center to its peaceful neighborhoods, Ann Arbor is one of Michigan’s hidden gems and a great place to visit.
While taking my walking tour, I strolled past the University of Michigan and could feel the youthful energy of the college students around me. Young people could be seen hurrying along to their classes and other locations around the college campus. Discussions about various topics of interest filled the air as students mingled with their peers.
Shops, restaurants and other businesses sit adjacent to the university. From exotic cuisines to vintage goods, these businesses feature a wide range of unique treasures. Tucked in a small alleyway is Nickels Arcade, which is lined with various shops that are reminiscent of another time.
Other notable city landmarks are located just a short walk from campus. The Burton Memorial Tower is an iconic clock tower that is easy to spot from afar and was one of the highlights of my tour. The Michigan Theatre, which has been in existence since the 1920s, provides entertainment for students who want to catch the latest independent films or see live theatrical productions or music concerts.
My time in Ann Arbor was a pleasant and memorable experience that has helped shape my attitude toward my future travels. Anyone who plans to visit Michigan should stop and see what Ann Arbor has to offer.
